Three public desks for climate-market context

Three places to follow when a carbon-market question needs a primary source: international rules, carbon-pricing data, and emissions-trading-system information.

A single marketplace page is rarely enough context for a climate-market question. Different public sources are useful for different parts of the picture. The UN Climate Change portal is a starting point for international climate agreements and Article 6-related information. The World Bank Carbon Pricing Dashboard provides a public way to explore carbon-pricing initiatives. The International Carbon Action Partnership provides information and analysis on emissions-trading systems.

These sources serve different purposes. They should not be used to make a generic claim that one policy system, credit, or project is appropriate for every buyer. Instead, they help a reader locate the rules, data, and institutional context that shape a particular market.

This is the kind of source path the Carbon Atlas Desk will continue to publish: specific, direct, and linked back to the originating institution so a reader can examine the material at its source.
